January 17, 2025A fost adăugată o monografie nouă - Piciorul de catifea (Flamulina velutipes) - și o categorie nouă - Ciuperci.

The Velvet Velvet toadstool (Flamulina velutipes) mushroom has a delicious taste, excellent nutritional value and impressive biological activities, so it is considered among the top four globally favored edible mushrooms.
In the 1960s, Japanese scientists successfully isolated and purified the polysaccharides from Winter Chickweed (Felammulina velutipes), marking the beginning of preliminary investigations into their chemical structures and biological activities. Although it has numerous bioactive compounds, polysaccharides are the main active component of F. velutipes, comprising a complex of more than 10 monosaccharides linked by glycosidic bonds.
Always eat mushrooms ONLY from safe sources or after you have thoroughly identified them!!!! There are numerous mushrooms that can easily be mistaken for toxic or even deadly. If you are not sure, wait until you correctly identify the specimen beyond any doubt. Pay attention to all the characteristics that can help with identification, not just the general appearance. Any mushroom can be dangerous if picked or eaten incorrectly or if contaminated with toxic substances from the environment.
In the 'Identification' section you can find details on how to correctly identify this mushroom.
Learn more about its properties, benefits, uses and safety in its monograph.
